Take me to the sea

It's hard to describe how much I miss the sea. Since I moved to the other side of the country I have not been there very often. When I was a little kid, we lived quite near the sea and every once in a while we jumped in the car and my dad drove us to the sea. But now things have changed and the distance has become longer. But I made a promiss to myself. If I get my grades for this time period at university, my reward will be...some salt air, some sand under my feet and some...SEA.

Colour by Cate Parr

Hello sunshine! It's time for some colour, so here it is: beautiful portraits by Cate Parr. She is a very talented fashion illustrator born and educated in England. Now she lives in California. The portrait above is my favorite, find your own favorite at her Etsy shop!

Colourful spring collections

Marc by Marc Jacobs RTW Spring 2011

Erdem RTW Spring 2011
Marc Jacobs RTW Spring 2011
So that's a lot of fresh colours and a splash of retro. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the long Erdem dress is really unbelievable. I was really surprised by the pink/brown combination in the Marc Jacobs Dress as well. And the hat that was repeatedly shown in the Marc by Marc Jacobs show really made my day! Have a great spring season!

Real books

'There is no mistaking a real book when one meets it.
It is like falling in love.'
- Christopher Morley, US author & journalist -

The most remarkable book I've read in the last few months is called 'waiting for the monsoon', written by Threes Anna. It is about India, back in the day, when the country was ruled by British people. It really is a moving story, I completely lost myself in the book. Did you read any remarkable books lately?

De wow-factor of Ladislav Renner

As you might know, I have an account at Deviantart, where people submit photos, drawings, poetry and yes, sometimes they submit stuff that shouldn't be on Deviantart. But there is great stuff to find. Like Ladislav Renner, a photographer from the Czech Republic. Let the photos speak for themself:

The last one is made in Firenze (Florence). So beautiful, can't wait to visit that place!
